Shankar
Narayanan
Vice President
and General Manager
Shankar
was one of the founders of Emuzed,
an Aricent company and has
over 20 years of business development,
marketing and engineering operations
management experience in the technology
industry in India and the US.
Shankar has successfully managed
a high powered technology team
for many years. He has extensive
experience and knowledge in managing
businesses in Asia, Europe and
North America and also implementing
software and engineering development
projects in remote locations such
as India. Currently he runs the
multimedia business unit of Aricent
International Limited, managing
business development, sales, marketing,
finance and operations. Before
co-founding Emuzed, he headed
Nexus Inc., USA as Vice President
of Business Development. He worked
at British Physical Laboratories,
Aurelec Systems, and Nexus computers.
He received his Bachelors in Electrical
and Electronics Engineering and
Masters in Marketing and Administration
from MK University.

Dr.
Rajesh Srivathsa
Head of Multimedia Products and Services
Rajesh is the Head of Multimedia Products and Services at Aricent Mobile Terminal Business Unit. Prior to the Aricent's
acquisition of Emuzed, Rajesh was
responsible for strategic business
initiatives, worldwide customer acquisition,
relationship management & revenues,
ecosystem development and interfacing
with a cross border engineering team.
Prior to Emuzed, he spearheaded development
of video systems for the broadcast
market at Lucent Digital Video, an
internal venture funded by Lucent
Ventures and subsequently acquired
by Lucent Technologies. Before LDV,
he was at IBM Watson Research Center
responsible for development of advanced
algorithms and implementation on embedded
chips. He holds a Master of Science
and a Doctor of Philosophy degree
from the University of Texas at Austin
and the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign in respectively.
Dr Srivathsa, a senior member of IEEE, has represented Lucent in MPEG and SMPTE. He also has published several articles and been awarded a number of patents.

Trevor
Strudley
Head of Marketing
Trevor
has more than 18 years of product development,
business development, marketing and
executive management high-technology
industries of Europe and the US. Today
Trevor manages the global marketing,
product strategy and partner management
operations of Emuzed. Before joining
Emuzed, he provided product management
within the Mobile Business Unit of Borland
Software Corporation, directed partner
and marketing activities for Symbian
Inc and undertook a wide range of roles
at SCO. Trevor has been awarded Bachelor
and Master’s degrees in Science,
along with a Master’s of Business
Administration from various institutions
within Europe.

Rangan Devarajan
Head of Operations
Rangan has over 18 years experience in the software industry, with extensive experience in customer relationships, business development and entrepreneurship. He is responsible for world wide software development and customer delivery. Prior to joining Aricent, Rangan was CTO of Celstream and Vice President of research and development of Hewlett Packard ISO. Rangan brings an excellent hands-on familiarity with SEI-CMM L5 processes. |

Kalyan Chakravarthy
Head of New Products
Kalyan is responsible for the creation and introduction of new multimedia products. Prior to joining Emuzed Kalyan developed MPEG-1, 2 and 4 software encoders and decoders at Silicon Automation Systems. Kalyan graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 1994 with high honors. |
