August 15, 2004 - Emuzed Inc. Bangalore center achives CMMI Maturity Level 4.
BANGALORE, India, August 15, 2004 - Emuzed India’s Bangalore Development Center, has achieved Maturity Level 4 rating on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®, - SW, v 1.1, Staged Representation.
The rigorous assessment based on SEI’s CMMI Standard CMMI Based Appraisal for Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI Class A) method was led by Software Quality Center Pvt. Ltd.’s (SQC) SEI Authorized Lead Assessor, Krishnan Puthucode.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Krishnan Puthucode said: “Emuzed has been able to benefit by using the CMMI Model very well The Model has been applied to suit the organizational context well, and in their area of multimedia systems and solutions, is perhaps among a very few that have demonstrated the ability to be agile as well as process focused. I am impressed by the commitment of the engineers to make quality a part of their job. Particularly laudable are the introduction and usage of robust Level 4 practices like defect profiling methods which enhances product quality. This achievement is really an exciting one, since it makes Emuzed join the elite brand of fewer than 20 companies world wide that have achieved this benchmark as per recent published and available SEI data”.
